VIVAnews - Juniper Networks, Inc., one of the main players in networking industry, announced that Excelcomindo Pratama Tbk (XL) only launched XConnect service. The managed SSL service works on SA4500 SSL VPN device produced by Juniper Networks.
Applying the remote access platform, a worker may still perform reliable and secure operation although the worker is not available in the office.
XConnect provides unique URL for each user aiming at secure login. The Juniper-Networks-based service allows secure access for users by applying Secure Socket Layer technology through XL's Multiprotocol Label Switching.
"As a business depending on information technology, our users need their workers to keep connected to data and applications," XL Network Director Dian Siswarini said in a press release on October 30.
The SA4500 SSL VPN device is targeting middle-to-top organizations as a solution to cost-cut efficiency in putting on extranet and remote accesses to the application from standard web-browser. The device also provides comprehensive protection from malicious users and remote applications which may damage the system of corporate networks.
