VIVAnews – The largest telecommunication operator in Indonesia PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. (TLKM) booked an increase in net profit until the third quarter of 2009 by 4.2 percent, valuing up to Rp 9.3 trillion. In the same period of 2008, the company recorded a Rp 8.92 trillion net profit.
Based on the company’s (non-audited) financial report publication in the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Friday, Oct. 30, the company’s business profit slightly increased from Rp 17.17 trillion to Rp 17.95 trillion.
Meanwhile, the company attained a Rp 47.11 trillion business income, higher 5.5 percent, compared to the same period in 2008 of Rp 44.65 trillion.
The income from data, internet, and information technology service contributed Rp 12.42 trillion, the highest contribution for the income.
However, the business liabilities also increased 6.1 percent from Rp 27.47 trillion to Rp 29.16 trillion. The company’s equities reached Rp 37.5 trillion, higher 15.6 percent compared to the same period in 2008, valuing Rp 32.5 trillion.
