VIVAnews - State electricity company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) issued global bonds worth US$1.25 billion with a tenure of 10 years, 2.75 percent of coupon and 77/8 of yield.
"This is 25 basis points better that the emission in last August," PLN Director Fahmi Mochtar told reporters today, Nov 2, in Jakarta.
According to Fahmi, PLN will be gaining cash from the transaction by next week.
The global bonds will be utilized for investing in transmission development, improving power capacity as well as alleviating black-out.
"Previous orders were worth US$4.5 billion, but the company meets US$1.25 billion," said Fahmi.
The global bonds are distributed to Asian and European countries and the United States.
