VIVAnews - PT Mobile-8 Telecom Tbk (FREN) booked a net loss of Rp 439.95 billion (around US$45 million) for the first nine months in 2009. The net loss increased 59.8 percent compared to Sept. 30 which reached Rp 275.29 billion.
In the corporate financial report publicized in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in Jakarta on Monday, Nov. 2, the company's loss increase is triggered by the decrease in the net business income from a previous Rp 610.76 billion to Rp 278.64 billion.
The loss is also affected by the interest and financial liabilities, which hiked from Rp 262.32 billion to Rp 326.46 billion.
Other than that, the net other liabilities were worth Rp 20.95 billion of the net other profit reaching Rp 1.21 billion in the same period of 2008. The company also recorded business liabilities of Rp 835.83 billion.
During that period, the company also recorded loss before tax for Rp 580.16 billion of a previous Rp 390.63 billion.
The code division multiple access (CDMA) operator booked a Rp 287.36 billion equities per Sept. 30 with assets reaching Rp 5.22 trillion.
