VIVAnews – The British government requests that the products coming from the UK will be able to enter the Indonesian market easily.
“Indonesia [owns] a large market, not only rich in natural resources and tourism destinations, but also [possesses] a vast geography,” said British Minister for Trade, Investment and Small Business Lord Davies of Abersoch during a visit to the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and a meeting with Industry Minister M. S. Hidayat in Jakarta on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
Davies expressed his wish to get an easy access for British products into the Indonesian market, which includes medical products, supportive products for infrastructure, or consumer goods.
“I think there would be more business [partnerships] between UK and Indonesia in the future,” he added.
The British government has identified Indonesia as one of the top five markets for British products. “UK is really interested with the prospect in Indonesia. Therefore, we would like [to make] more investments here,” he said.
