VIVAnews - Indonesian Vice President Boediono said the market is not affected following the escalating polemics between the Corruption Eradication Commission and the Indonesian Police. However, the government acknowledged that they will still be serious in mulling over the case.

"The stock exchange and the rupiah currency are normal," Mr Boediono said on Friday, Nov 6.

He expected that the polemics are not linked with the Indonesian economy. However, Boediono refused the impression showing that the government are not taking the issue seriously.

"We're still concerned with the issue," he said.

He believed that there will still be truth and justice. "We'll see about it," he said.
