VIVAnews - Adnan Buyung Nasution is more concerned about the country’s situation following the testimony of Williardi Wizar in the murder case of Nasrudin Zulkarnaen with Antasari Azhar, former chief of Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), as the suspect.

“It’s getting more complicated. It’s getting more obvious that there’s something fishy about this country. I’m increasingly concerned,” Nasution, who is the Chief of Fact Verification and Legal Team in the alleged criminalization case involving two execs of the Anti-graft Commission (KPK), Bibit Samad Riyanto and Chandra M Hamzah on Wednesday, November 11.

According to Nasution, Wizar’s statements had reinforced the public’s allegation that police investigations on cases could be fabricated. “I don’t know what would happen to this country. This what makes it hard for me to sleep at night,” he said.

Nasution also said Wizar’s testimony had supported the criminalization accusation against KPK. “Did Antasari really commit the murder? Is it true that this is not a set up or a scenario to impair KPK with Antasari as the first target and Bibit and Chandra as the next? These are all questions,” he said.

In his testimony, Wizar revealed that the investigation of Zulkarnaen’s murder case was designed to frame Antasari Azhar. Wizar was asked to create an interrogation file (BAP) which would scathe Antasari and promised to be let go off the case. “Please make something that would take Antasari down,” Wizar said, quoting the investigators.

Due to the broken promise, Wizar later decided to revoke his testimony in the artificial interrogation file. “I took them all back. I was deemed a traitor and the investigators said the file could not overthrow Antasari.”
