Two years in a row, Indonesia International Fantastic Film Festival (INAFFF) has been entertaining horror/thriller, sci-fi and anime hardcore fans in Jakarta and Bandung, and this November it will be back for the third edition. The festival has indeed reached its objective to reach a bigger audience beyond horror fans, and expand the festival content to a broader spectacle.
For a total of 13 days, movie fans in Bandung and Jakarta will have a feast of blood, zombies, vampires, ghosts and ghouls at the third edition of the festival – the first international fantastic film festival in Indonesia and in South East Asia, the second in Asia only after Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival in Korea. INAFFF in its third year has also become an important addition to the already the established Jakarta International Film Festival (Jiffest), Europe on Screen and Konfiden (Short Film Festival) in Indonesia.
The festival will showcase more than 35 films from over 10 countries around the world. From award winning genre films to pure fun B-movies, the festival will also screen few short films from the up and coming young local talents. Film screenings will be done in Jakarta first from Nov. 13 – 22, and then it will roll to Bandung on Nov. 27 – 29, 2009.
