VIVAnews - State oil and gas company Pertamina is seeking the chance to acquire 10 percent of shares belonging to Chevron at the Ganal and Rapal oil and gas block.
According to Pertamina Deputy Director of Planning and Upstream Evaluation, Gunung Sardjono Hadi, the company has proposed the issue officially to the Directorate General of Oil and Gas to have Indonesian Participation (IP) in the block by 10 percent.
"We have met with Chevron's party to discuss about the matter," said Sardjono on Friday, Nov 13.
Today, he said, Pertamina is still expecting the Directorate General of Oil and Gas to issue a decree aiming at the acquisition. "We have also prepared the fund," said Sardjono.
