UAE to Invest US$5 Bn in Indonesia

The investment is aimed at financing several projects in Kalimantan.

VIVAnews - United Arab Emirates crown prince Sheikh Saud Ras Al-Khaiman is planning to invest in Indonesia by US$5 billion, aiming at several projects that will take place in Kalimantan.
 
As quoted from the official webpage of the Indonesian President presidensby.info, the scheme was unveiled after Mr Saud met with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Sunday, Dec 13.
 
Mr Yudhoyono is attending the UNFCCC in Copenhagen, Denmark.

During the meeting, the president and the crown prince were discussing about the investment plan on electricity, railway, and aluminium processing projects in Kalimantan.
