VIVAnews - The Indonesian government is ready to commit the free trade agreement (FTA) with ASEAN and China.
"Indonesia, having signed the FTA with ASEAN and China, will implement the commitment as agreed," Deputy Trade Minister Mahendra Siregar said on Tuesday, Dec 15.
The government, he said, has reviewed various inputs on the FTA effect over certain industries and sectors.
Chief of the Fiscal Policy Agency Anggito Abimanyu said the Ministry of Finance will issue a Finance Ministerial Regulation on the FTA implementation in around December.
Anggito said there will not be any new significant policy on the issue. "We're proceeding with the current policies such as incentives, BMDTP, tax tariff decrease, port reform and others," said Anggito.
