VIVAnews - The Directorate General of Taxes figured that the realization of state revenues from tax this year will not be optimal. Director General of Taxes Mochammad Tjiptardjo said the tax revenues would likely record Rp 500 trillion of the targeted Rp 534 trillion.
"The current amount is around Rp 490 trillion," said Tjiptardjo on Wednesday, Dec 30.
Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati earlier said that tax would contribute lower value due to the downturn in the economy as well as decrease in export and import.
"Nontax state revenues would seemingly miss due to oil lifting," said Sri Mulyani at a meeting with the House of Representatives on November 10.
