VIVAnews - The Ministry of Finance reported that the Indonesian government owns fiscal risk reserve in the 2010 State Budget that can cover electricity costs from January to February 2010. The Rp 3 trillion worth of fund will be prepared if the government does not modify electricity tariff by January 2010.

"We have a fiscal risk reserve of Rp 3 trillion should the electricity tariff remain in January 2010," said Chief of Fiscal Policy Agency Anggito Abimanyu on Wednesday, Dec 30.

According to Anggito, in addition to anticipating the delayed electricity tariff in January, the reserve is ready if the government then set a standard lower than it is in the State Budget.

However, the Ministry of Finance has yet to discuss about the allocation of the future Revised State Budget reaching Rp 24 trillion.
