VIVAnews - Spokesperson of a mass organization Kompak, Effendi Ghazali, said the massive protests that will take place today in Jakarta will involve at least 65 mass groups.

"The crowd would likely amount to 10,000 people before the House of Representatives (DPR) building. There will also be supporters from KAMI before the KPK office. Farmers, labors and other classes will join the protests," said Effendi on Thursday, Jan 28, during a talkshow in TV station tvOne.

Effendi stated that the public has lacked faith in the Yudhoyono administration which is outlined in its 100-day program.

"Students will lead the way. They will be backed by farmers and other groups," he said.

The January 28 protest is set out as an attempt to criticize the 100-day program of the Yudhoyono administration.

A coordinator of Gerakan Indonesia Bersih, Yudi Latif, said earlier that the protests will not be chaotic. "Coordination with the police has been carried out," he said.
