VIVAnews - This year's education budget is estimated to multiply to Rp 14 trillion as the central government has intended to have additional budget for expenditure in the Revised State Budget.
State Minister of National Development Planning/Head of National Development Planning Agency Armida S Alisjahbana said the increase in allocated expenditure is aimed at implementing new programs prepared by the elected President which have been included.
"Everything is still under calculation. However, the education sector would obtain 20 percent, which will rise Rp 14 trillion," said Armida on Thursday, Feb 4.
The budget will be added to the education budget in the National Education, Religious Affairs, and 13 other ministries.
Total budget of the government attached in the 2010 State Budget reached Rp 1,047.7 trillion.
