VIVAnews - Upstream Oil and Gas Regulator (BP Migas) signed six gas purchasing deals for 75,904.96 BBTU of volume with national buyers.
BP Migas Operational Control Deputy, Budi Indianto, said the deals consist of three head of agreements, two amended gas purchasing contracts, and one PJBG.
"It is expected that the deal signing will boost the domestic gas supply," he said on Friday, Feb 19.
Budi said the six contracts include a HoA between PT Pertamina EP and PT Pertamina with a total volume of 65,359.00 BTU to meet the NGL Plant in South Sumatra, which is under the partnership with South Korean company E1.
Moreover, the HoA of Petrochina International Bermuda Ltd with PT Malamoi Olom Wobok having a total volume of 1,460.00 BBTU is aimed at supplying electricity in Sorong Regency; and the HoA between Kodeco Energy Co Ltd and PT Gresik Migas is aimed at supplying the industry in Gresik Regency.
The purchasing contract between PT Pertamina EP and PT Pelangi Cakrawala Losarang is for the industry in Losarang, West Java, with a total volume of 6,230.00 BBTU; PT Pertamina and PT Tossa Sakti for the industry in Central Java, 1,460.00 BBTU; and between PT Pertamina and Medco E&P Indonesia to improve oil production with a total volume of 1,395.96 BBTU.
