VIVAnews - The Indonesian Police confirmed that the group of alleged terrorists, who were caught in Aceh a while ago, is not associated with any other networks.
“So far, there is no association with other parties,” Indonesian Police’s Public Relation Division Head, Insp. Gen. Edward Aritonang said on Saturday, March 6.
However, further investigations on the group are still ongoing and several suspects that escaped the arrest are still in pursuit.
The police are also examining a blog called alufuq.wordpress.com which publishes a statement from a group who call themselves Tandzim Al Qoidah Indonesia Serambi Makkah on jihad in Aceh.
It is still uncertain whether the Aceh terrorists are affiliated with the particular group.
“We’re still checking it out. We’re trying to figure out who the blog creator is and whether it is made seriously or just for fun,” Aritonang said.
Until today, there have been 15 terrorist suspects arrested. Fourteen of them were caught alive while one of them with AB initials was shot to death during his fight against the authorities.
The initials of the 14 suspects are YZ, SAS, ZN, NR, SA, HL, HB, NK, AK, DS, AF, AN, HB, and DS.
The police have also seized evidences from the suspects, which include four riffles and dozens of bullets.

To our beloved followers, let us remind you that today’s jihad is Fardhu’ain (mandatory), delays of jihad will lead to the loss of its merits. Therefore, helping, supporting, praying for, donating, and coming to jihad battlefield are eternal mandatory in committing jihad.
