A VIVAnews anonymous source in the anti-terror squad confirmed that the raid was an attempt to arrest alleged terrorists.
"They're from the old party," the source said.
One died during the raid, and no official information was released by the police.
At the same time, the Special Detachment also traces a number of spots in Aceh Besar Regency, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, to locate the alleged terrorists.
The police blockade several roads in the Lembah Seulawah area.
Up until Monday, March 8, it was estimated that around 30 suspects are still scattered in the regency.
The police have also captured two suspects of weapon suppliers to a terrorist group in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam.
