VIVAnews - Former commander of the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) Muzakir Manaf stated that the terrorist movement in Aceh has no linkage with the GAM. In fact, former GAM members supply data to the police about the movement.

"We'll be teaming up with the authorities to deal with terrorism," said Muzakir on Tuesday, March 9.

Muzakir said the former GAM members are not involved in the movement. "Aceh has a vast area of land that they use for training grounds. They also use roads," he said.

The group under pursuit has been against peace in Aceh. "It seems that they don't want peace in Aceh. In fact, the Helsinki agreement has been of help," he said.

The alleged terrorist party may be linked with the Dulmatin network.
