VIVAnews - Indonesia will be considering the investment on energy sector by attending the Energy Forum in South Korea by March 24-25, according to Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Darwin Z Saleh today, March 17.
"Today, the Coordinating Minister for the Economy will helm the meeting to prepare for the Energy Forum," said Darwin.
According to Darwin, the meeting initiated by Korea has been in the third year. In addition to Korea, several other countries are expected to be present at the forum.
Darwin looks ahead to the more concrete outcomes from the Energy Forum including investment sector.
"We have indeed in our pockets in the chance of investment," he said.
He went on to say that Indonesia is open for investment from Korea taking into account the partnership in steel industry involving Posco.
