VIVAnews - Australian mining company Thiess is ready to expand its business in Indonesia by focusing on the infrastructure sector especially toll-road construction.
"Thiess is eager to develop non-mining sector such as toll roads," said Chief of the Capital Investment Coordinating Agency, Gita Wirjawan, on Wednesday, March 17.
According to Gita, Thiess is planning to work out on two toll roads in Java by allocating millions of US dollar.
Likewise, three other foreign companies such as Coca Cola, Ramsey Health Care and internationa financial firm Commonwealth have also stated their interests.
The four companies will contribute to the investment by US$1 billion, which can be materialized this year in phases.
