VIVAnews - Investors would likely go after the shares of Bakrie Group in today's trading including Bumi Resources Tbk's stocks.

According to analyst of PT Optima Securities, Ikhsan Binarto, Bakrie's blue chips will lure investors to put in investment as regards the company's intention to reduce debts worth US$1 billion.

Ikhsan in fact went on by saying that investors' buy-option over Bakrie Group's shares may prop up the composite stock price index.

"However, the Indonesian benchmark index will be affected by the swing in global and regional markets especially Dow Jones," he said.

In Wednesday's transaction, the index was closed positive by 34.73 points (1.23 percent) to 2,847.62.
