VIVAnews - The Indonesian government has issued Presidential Regulation No. 36/2010 on Investment Negative Investment (DNI). Given the issuance, the government believes that Rp 2,000 trillion of investment will be realized.
Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Hatta Rajasa, said that DNI is a list of business fields that are closed to investments and other business fields that are open for investments.
"The new DNI issuance is based on the spirit to facilitate, ensure, and attract investments to investors," said Hatta in Jakarta today, June 9.
Hatta said that the issuance of the new DNI will boost investment in Indonesia.
The Indonesian government in its macro policies until 2014 has set the amount of investment at seven percent per year.
Through such an investment, according to Hatta, new employment will be available and the unemployment rate will decrease by between 5 and 6 percent. In addition, poverty rate will be reduced to 8-10 percent.
