VIVAnews - Indonesian Finance Minister Agus Martowardojo is ready to cooperate with the National Economic Committee (KEN) which is helmed by Chairul Tanjung. Agus is convinced that the committee will be independent as well as providing solid analyses and recommendations.
Through KEN, said Agus, the government will in fact be facillitated in every discussion. "Every time a policy is prepared, many experts then require research and discussions," said Agus yesterday night in the parliamentary complex.
"I believe that KEN will help enable studies over economic aspects in Indonesia and launch reviews or recommendations," he said.
Agus was positive that KEN, which consists of pundits, practitioners, entrepreneurs and bureaucrats can offer the solutions.
Agus claimed that KEN will not intervene in policy issuance in state level.
"It is an independent committe which will help with inputs and analyses," he said.
