VIVAnews - Canadian businessmen are looking at a business chance in East Kalimantan on energy sector, expecting a collaboration with the local administration and entrepreneurs, according to Canadian Ambassador to Indonesia, Mackenzie Clugston, through a press release circulated by the Canadian Embassy in Indonesia.
"I believe that the effort will help either Indonesian or Canadian companies to see new and important business opportunities amid the global economic downturn," said Clugston.
He said that the businessmen's visit is targeting at expanding bilateral commercial relations between Canada and Indonesia as well as exhibiting Canada's specialty in oil and gas exploration.
The Canadian delegations include SNC Lavalin, McElhanney, ExsaMap, Petro Canada, Acier Profile SBB Inc, World Oil Tools Inc and SEI Industries.
Indonesia and Canada gained C$1.8 billion from the commercial relations last year.
