VIVAnews - Bank Indonesia (BI) revealed that the stability of banking system is still remain solid as credit growth improves.
"Banking rate shows its stability as is reflected through the high capital adequacy ratio and the stable gross non performing loans which is maintained at less than five percent," BI announced today.
According to BI, banking intermediation advances as credit growth up until June 2010 hit 18.6 percent (year-on-year). Overall, credit growth in 2010 may reach 22-24 percent.
Bank Indonesia acknowledged that it will monitor the condition in banking sector as well as boost the betterment in banking efficiency to optimize intermediation process.
