VIVAnews - Jakarta governor Fauzi Bowo gave the nod to the plan outlined by the Ministry of Information to set up an enterprise on public transport in Jakarta and its surrounding area called Trans-Jabodetabek.
"We surely welcome the plan," said Fauzi today, July 28.
Governor Fauzi stated that one of the supports that the Jakarta administration will provide to the Trans-Jabodetabek system is the enhancement of the Transjakarta network, which has been on in five Jakarta municipalities.
Mr Fauzi cited the TransJakarta bus route of Pulogadung, whose area directly borders with Bekasi. If the said system is realized in the future, the government would instantly link the route to Bekasi.
