VIVAnews - The Indonesian government is evaluated as being too soft against Malaysia following a negotiation held in Kinabalu, Malaysia.
"It was a diplomatic talk. It's too soft taking into account Indonesia's point of view," said Deputy Head of the House of Representatives (DPR) Pramono Amung today, September 7.
Pramono said that the Indonesian government failed in persuading Malaysia to change its stance toward Indonesia.
"Will there be changes? Will there be improvement? Will Malaysia respect Indonesia more under an equal diplomatic relations?" said Pram.
In fact, Pramono expected Indonesian Foreign Affairs Minister Marty Natalegawa to have pride and dignity. Marty, according to Pramono, should have had better gesture as regards the efforts to defend Indonesia's sovereignty.
However, Pramono stated that every Indonesian migrant worker in Malaysia must get protection. "This issue should be accommodated by Minister Marty," said Pramono.
