VIVAnews – The controversy of a man-made pyramid-like structure in Mount Sadahurip or Mount Putri in Garut, West Java, will be uncovered in phases.  After using georadar, geoelectric, contour photo and IFSAR photo, the Archaeological Catastrophic Team, in a short while will carry out a drilling.

One of the team members, Iwan Sumule, said that the drilling is aimed at furthering the study over the rock formation inside the mount.

“We will probably conduct preliminary excavation in March to study the rock formation,” Iwan Samule told VIVAnews, today, Jan 30.

If Mount Sadahurip really buries the so-called pyramid, the team believes that it will be bigger in size and structure than the pyramid in Giza, Egypt.

Scientific Explanation

In addition to drilling, the Catastrophic Team will provide scientific explanation regarding the Mount Sadahurip's pyramid as early as February by holding a workshop to discuss all related matters.

“The scientists will present researches about the mountain in a scientific manner,” he said.

Iwan said that the Catastrophic Team will look into the explanation that ITB’s geologists, Danny Hilman and Andang Bachtiar, provided on the mountain.

“Both geologists will present their studies,” he said.

The two geologists are also members of the Catastrophic Team.

Stephen Oppenheimer, the writer of the bestseller "Eden in the East" from UK, who was interested in the existence of a pyramid in Sadahurip, will also attend an international cultural event by the University of Indonesia which will be held in Bali next month.
