Kalla Suggested in List of Experts on Century

VIVAnews – The Corruption Eradication Committee will respond to the result of forensic auditing that the Finance Supervisory Bureau (BPK) had conducted on the Bank Century case today. In the meeting, the Century’s Supervisory Team will propose a number of experts and set them up.

Earluier, KPK has called for the supervisory team to handed over the names of experts in the field to investigate the case. 

“This is an effort to respond to KPK’s request,” said Bambang Soesatyo, a member of the Century’s Supervisory Team, to VIVAnews.

The Supervisory Team suggested former Indonesian Vice President, Jusuf Kalla, among other names. From the criminal section, the Supervisory Team recommended Eddy OS Hiarej and Mudzakir. The House of Representatives also put forward a number of banking experts such as Denny Darury, Sigit Pramono, and Anwar Nasution.

From the experts of state administration, Yusril Ihza Mahendra, Adnan Buyung Nasution, Saldi Isra, and Irman Putra Siddin were surfaced. From the point of view of the economy, Kwik Kian Gie and Iman Sugema were presented. Public administration sector has Laica Marzuki and Arifin P. Soeriaatmadja on the list while the international relations has Hikmahanto Juwana on the list. 

Bank Century's forensic auditing results showed that there are 13 findings and additional information regarding the flow of Bank Century’s funds.  The report was delivered by BPK to KPK in the parliamentary complex on December 23, 2011.
