VIVAnews - PT Jasa Marga Tbk. (JSMR) stated that they are participating in a bid to manage the Suramadu bridge which situated in East Java. The bridge links Surabaya and Madura.
"The calculation is being processed. The Jasa Marga team is in Surabaya," said President Director of Jasa Marga Frans S Sunito in Jakarta on Friday, May 15.
Sunito said that Jasa Marga will only be the bridge operator if they win the tender. All income will be paid in to the government, the bridge owner. Jasa Marga only gains income from the government. "It is we that should pay if there is repair," he said.
The tender winner will be announced by the end of May, according to Sunito, because the bridge will be fully operated on June 10.
