VIVAnews - Head of Indonesian Police Crime and Investigation Unit Susno Duadji said there has been positive progress in the Indover and Bank Century case.
“The results were positive both for Indover and Century”, Duadji said at the Police Headquarters on Jalan Trunojoyo, Jakarta, Friday, May 29.
Duadji said that the funds from the Indover case will first be frozen before it is taken over by the government.
Regarding the next step of the Indover and Century case, Duadji said that there has not been any agreement with the Finance Minister. “On whether the case will be resumed or not, we will inform the Finance Minister on Monday. She will be busy this Friday”, he said.
Earlier, Duadji has coordinated with the Hongkong police in dealing with the discovery of bank account belonging to the founder of Bank Century, Robert Tantular, which was worth Rp 7.3 trillions.
At the executive board meeting on Wednesday, May 14, 2009, the Head of Indonesian Police, General Bambang Hendarso Danuri said that the police had blocked Robert Tantular’s bank account. “We have blocked it in Hongkong”, he said.
Tantular is the suspect in the customers’ funds diversion case occurred at PT Bank Century Tbk and PT Antaboga Delta Sekuritas Indonesia.
