VIVAnews - Bank Indonesia (BI) Senior Deputy Governor Miranda Swaray Goeltom said the BI Rate may have another cut taking into account May inflation.
"The decision as to the cut will be made on Wednesday (3/6)," she said on Monday, June 1.
Goeltom said the year-on-year inflation of 6.04 percent was a positive rate. She predicted that the year 2009 would hit the lowest inflation rate, that of 5 percent which was quite similar with 2003 at 5.06 percent.
The Central Statistics Agency said the inflation rate in May was around 0.04 percent while the year-on-year inflation reached 6.04 percent.
