VIVAnews - The merger plan between state pharmaceutical enterprises PT Indofarma Tbk. (INAF) and PT Kimia Farma Tbk. (KAEF) still expects for the new composition of parliamentary members of the 2009-2013 period.
The merger needs House's approval prior to being proposed to other related departments, said Indofarma President Director P. Sudibyo on Thursday, June 4.
He explained that the company had prepared a technical team to discuss about the merger plan. Indofarma and Kimia Farma will create a business plan of the merged company.
In 2009, Indofarma targets Rp 1.4 trillion in sales, Rp 1.24 trillion increase compared to 2008. The net profit is expected to reach Rp 25-30 billion, 15 percent higher than the last period.
