VIVAnews - The World Bank will disburse loans for nine geothermal power plant projects owned by PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy valuing US$500 million by early 2010.
Pertamina Geothermal President Director Abadi Poernomo said these nine projects are, among any others, Ulu Bentu power plant unit 3 and 4, Lumut Balai power plant unit 1, 2, 3 and 4 and also Lahendong unit 5 and 6.
"Our target is to receive the fund in the first quarter of 2010," he said in Jakarta on Thursday, June 4.
The Pertamina's subsidiary is also proposing other soft-loan financing from Japan International Cooperation Agency and Germany-based bank KFE.
Meanwhile, as for the 2009 capital expenditure, he stated that US$130 million will be financed by the holding company PT Pertamina
