VIVAnews - Jusuf Kalla (JK) and Wiranto have again revealed the fact of reconciliation process in Aceh.
The pair acknowledged that there is not any written document about the details of the conflict settlement such as who the responsible person was and who the executor was.
“It will be too extreme if I say that Aceh reconciliation process was initiated by Mr Jusuf Kalla. But that's the truth”, JK-Wiranto campaign team member, Ali Mochtar Ngabalin said at the House of Representatives (DPR) building in Jakarta on Friday, June 19.
Ngabalin once asked one of the SBY's team members to look up the state documents to find out which state budgets spent to fund the reconciliation in Aceh.
“None of them were used because it was funded by Jusuf Kalla's personal funds”, the Reform Star Party's politician said. He also said that JK even guaranteed the admittance of Free Aceh Movement (GAM) in a written form. The statement was written by JK himself.
It was written: I, Haji Muhammad Jusuf Kalla as the Vice President of Indonesia, have given a guarantee to GAM to establish a local party.
“You can come to the office of Aceh Party to see the certificate which was written by JK himself”, Ngabalin said. Therefore, this is indeed a process that is required to be made public in order to avoid manipulation in the history recording process.
