VIVAnews - Votes gained by Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and Boediono by Monday, June 22, continue to decrease while those for Jusuf Kalla (JK) and Wiranto are rising in number.
The report is based on the survey conducted by several research agencies during the past month.
By the end of May, according to the Indonesian Survey Agency, 70 percent of respondents voted for SBY-Boediono while 18 percent of them voted for Mega-Prabowo. The remaining voters of 7 percent chose JK-Wiranto.
But in early June, votes for SBY-Boediono started to decline. According to the research data of LP3ES, only 54.9 percent of respondents voted for SBY-Boediono. In the meantime, Mega-Prabowo were elected by 9.7 percent of respondents while JK-Wiranto by 6.8 percent of respondents.
The tumbling votes for SBY-Boediono and increasing vote for JK-Wiranto was also found by the National Survey Agency (LSN) in early June.
According to the survey, SBY-Boediono were still on top. They gained 62 percent of votes while Mega-Prabowo received 14 percent. JK-Wiranto obtained 11 percent.
However, when LSN did the survey on May 15 to 20, SBY-Boediono gained higher number of votes which were 67.1 percent. Mega-Prabowo only gained 11.8 percent of votes while JK-Wiranto added 6 percent.
Indonesian Survey Cicle also found SBY-Boediono did not gain 70 percent of votes. The pair achieved 59.5 percent. Other candidates, Mega-Prabowo, were voted by 18.3 percent of respondents and 6.3 percent of them voted for JK-Wiranto.
The proof of decreasing vote for SBY-Boediono also found in the latest survey done by the Center for Policy Analysis and Strategic Development (Puskpatis).
The results revealed that SBY-Boediono gained 52.15 percent of votes, Mega-Prabowo got 22.17 percent, and JK-Wiranto recorded 17.20 percent.
When Puskpatis did the same survey on May 11-17, SBY-Boediono gained 57.39 percent of votes while Mega-Prabowo gained 24.26 percent. JK-Wiranto attained 12.37 percents.
