Garuda Targeting Rp 600 Bln Income

Garuda is now teaming up with 391 major companies operating in Indonesia.

VIVAnews - PT Garuda Indonesia is targeting to reach Rp 600 billion of income resulting from corporate partnership in 2009, 20 percent higher than the company's income worth Rp 500 billion.

According to Garuda Indonesia Director of Trade Agus Priyanto, the company aimed at establishing partnership with 500 companies which would be accomplished by the end of 2009.

"Garuda is now teaming up with 391 major companies operating in Indonesia," he said after an agreement signing with the Indonesian Notaries Association (INI) in Tangerang on Wednesday, July 1.

The company's partners consist of 330 Corporate Accounts and 60 Corporate Directs. Corporate Accounts are collaboration with companies such as, among any others, Pertamina, Bank Mandiri, Telkomsel, Medco, Total EP, Freeport, Astra Internasional, Indosat, Trakindo, Siemens, Pupuk Kaltim.

Meanwhile, Corporate Directs are partnership with non-corporate agencies such as associations or foundations.

"We are expanding the corporate market by improving Garuda On-line Booking Corporate access. Other than that, we expand the overseas branch office market," he added.

The signing was attended by Garuda Director of Trade Agus Priyanto and INI Chairperson Adrian Djuaini.
