VIVAnews - Indonesian Health Minister Siti Fadilla Supari said almost every island in the archipelago has been infected with swine flu virus today. She demanded that the nation is aware of the possible threat by promoting healthy life.
"We are still seeing whether or not the case in Denpasar was considered swine flu. But apparently, almost every island (in Indonesia) has been penetrated by the virus because we cannot refuse foreign visitors," said the minister on Tuesday, July 14.
In West Nusa Tenggara, a French tourist was suspected carrying the virus in his body. Meanwhile, a Dutch tourist was swine flu suspect in East Nusa Tenggara.
"I hope H1N1 won't produce any death toll," she said.
In Indonesia, those of swine flu suspect reach 100 people. The positively infected people who have improved their condition are no longer nursed in hospitals. In line with the international procedure, they are only quarantined.
