VIVAnews – Jasa Marga (JSMR) delays its consulting service on tollway construction project with the Indian government due to internal issue, mainly on the land issue in India.
“The project is temporarily on hold,” Jasa Marga's managing director Frans S. Sunito in Jakarta on Thursday, July 23.
According to him, Jasa Marga's involvement in the India's tollway construction is to become the consulting company and the supervisor of the tollway construction. The plan is to construct a 150-kilometer-long tollway. “It is not a part of the company's investment,” he added.
Sunito adds that the company has also arranged a consultant contract for a tollway project in Bangladesh.
“[The company's] investment for the mean time is in the country. However we provides service overseas,” he said.
